We are proud of the experience and tenure of team. We combine more than 50 years of China investing experience and together our team members have more than 40 years of operating experience in China. Most of our senior team members have been working together for over 5 years.

Lixin Zheng, Chairman and Chief Investment Officer Mr. Zheng has 18 years of operating, consulting, and investment experience in mainland China. He was the Chairman of Longlife Group Holdings Limited (08037.HK) from 2007 to 2010. Previously, Mr. Zheng was a consultant at McKinsey & Company (where he was the firm’s first mainland Chinese consultant based in China) and held executive positions at GlaxoWellcome and SmithKline Beecham in China. Mr. Zheng holds an MBA from University of Western Ontario in Canada, Ivey School of Business, a Masters in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto, and a BA Engineering from Tianjin University.
Daniel Adamec, Partner Mr. Adamec joined DM Capital in 2012 and has significant experience in management consulting and financial management. Mr. Adamec has 10 years of experience at McKinsey & Company, with 7 years spent in Hong Kong leading their Asset Management and Insurance practice. Additionally, he has served as the CFO of Winterthur Life & Pensions, which was the 10th largest life insurer in Europe and a subsidiary of Credit Suisse Group. Mr. Adamec is also the co-founder and a board member of eBaoTech Corporation, a Shanghai-headquartered insurance technology company with a staff of approximately 1000 insurance and IT professionals. He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Zurich.
Olav Noack, Partner Mr. Noack joined DM Capital in 2012 and has an extensive background in finance, management consulting and accounting. He has served as the CEO for Switzerland and an Executive Member of the Board for Baloise Group, one of Switzerland’s largest insurance companies. He was responsible for Bank SoBa and the insurance business. He has also served as a Managing Director for Barclays Bank, heading the global fund business for the private bank and retail bank and serving as a member of the Global Investment Committee. Additionally, Mr. Noack has served as a member of the Global Financial Planning Committee of UBS and has 7 years of experience working for McKinsey & Company, in both their financial services and industry practices; and has worked as an audit supervisor at PWC. He holds a PhD in business administration, an MBA and a Masters degree in political sciences, all from the University of St. Gallen.
Thomas Werder, Partner Mr. Werder joined DM Capital in 2012 and has a strong background in finance and corporate communications. Previously he served as Project Director and a member of the executive committee at Obermatt, an international financial research company specialized in indexing operating performance. He has also served as the Head of Corporate & Financial Communications and Deputy CEO at Burson-Marsteller, one of Switzerland’s leading public relations and communications companies and was the Head of Investor Relations & Corporate Communications for SIG Holding, a Swiss corporation with 1.5 billion euros in sales. He holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Corporate Finance from the University of Zurich and a Masters degree in History and German from the University of Basel.
Peter Wang, Partner Mr. Wang has 24 years of hands-on experience in corporate and government Finance, including 10 years of M&A and Financial restructuring experience specializing in cash flow optimization, tax, and cost reduction. He was previously the CFO and a Board Member of ETAM (TAM.EPA), Dawnrays Pharmaceutical (Holdings) Limited (02348.HK), and Longlife Group Holdings Limited (08037.HK). Mr. Wang received Bachelors of Accountancy and a Masters of Management from Suzhou University, China.
Frank Gao, Partner Mr. Gao is a founding member of DM Capital and has led the firm’s private equity investments. He also serves as CEO of Shenzhen Jiahong Denture Technology Limited, a portfolio company of DM Capital. Mr. Gao has many years of experience in research and investment management. Mr. Gao received a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Jiangsu University.
Kelly Li, Partner Ms. Li is a founding member of DM Capital, where she has led the firm’s research, finance and trading operations. She worked as Financial Controller in Longlife Group Holdings Limited (08037.HK) and Venturepharm Laboratories Limited (08225.HK) and as strategy consultant at Beijing Bexcel Consultants Company in 1999. Ms. Li has a BA of Finance from Tsinghua University, Beijing.
Hans Zhou, Partner Mr. Zhou joined DM Capital in March, 2007 and runs DMR, the firm’s research operations. He has more than 10 years of public company research experience. Prior to joining DM Capital, he was a Credit Officer, China Construction Bank (00939.HK) and served as Regional Sales Manager at Philips Healthcare Medical Device Co. Limited. He holds a BA from the Shaanxi finance and Economics College.
Alex Harbin, Director of Research Mr. Harbin joined DM Capital in March 2012 as Director of Research. He has 7 years of public company research experience. Prior to joining DM Capital, he was the General Manager of Dynamic Modern Research and Consulting, an independent research firm focused on China due diligence. Before moving to China, Alex served as a sell-side Research Analyst at Toll Cross Securities in Toronto where he covered infrastructure, alternative energy and special situations. He holds an HBA from University of Western Ontario in Canada, Ivey School of Business.
